With tripple redundancy workflow against COVID-19

22.03.2020

In aerospace engineering, redundancy is the key. Redundancy means the duplication of critical components or functions of flight critical system. With over 40years of experience in aviation, we've adopted this system to manage the COVID-19 crisis.
We've implemented triple redundancy in our emergency workflow to prevent a shut down of KUERZI Aviation.

The swiss Federal Council declared the nationwide emergency on Monday, March 17th, 2020, because of the corona virus (VOVID-19). Public life in Switzerland changed overnight. Reduced public transport, rejection at borders and shops that do not meet basic needs remain closed. This creates uncertainty and raises questions.

With this letter we inform you about our actions.

We pursue the goal of protecting our employees and maintaining operations. To protect our employees and their relatives, we follow the recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health. All employees of all levels and activities, internally and externally, are encouraged to comply with the Federal Office of Public Health requirements.

After nationwide emergency

To be able to maintain operations as stable as possible, we have initiated the following organizational measures.

Before nationwide emergency

After nationwide emergency

To be able to maintain operations as stable as possible, we have initiated the following organizational measures.

We have formed three teams that work physically separate from each other. The teams are mixed with DO / PO / MO employees. Each of the teams is therefore equipped with all of KUERZI's expertise.
With this organization we reduce a possible infection only to the team members of the respective group. A possible confirmed disease would result in the failure of only one team, but not of the entire company.

With this measure

•    we have implemented triple redundancy in our emergency process.
•    we ensure ongoing operations in order to meet customer requirements.
•    we protect our employees and their relatives.
•    we secure our jobs in the best possible way.
•    we try to make our contribution so that others can be better helped.
•    we have implemented the recommendations of the Federal Office of Public Health.

Despite all the measures, there may be delays, which we try to identify and report early.

In this particular situation, there is a great desire for clarification. We are convinced that with this information we have been able to proactively respond to your most pressing questions.
If you still have any questions, we are very grateful if you contact our central email address. info@kuerzi.com We want to ensure that our employees concentrate fully on their activities and that we can all contribute to mastering this extraordinary situation.
