The KVM104 AC BUS CONTROLLER monitors, manages and protects four individual 230VAC outlets. The outlets are prioritised and the KVM104 provides external signals based on the outlets power consumption. These signals are intended for use as load shedding controls, guaranteeing an uninterrupted and safe power distribution on the 230VAC outlets, but can be used for other functions such as indications. A remotely resetable RCD protects the outlets from current faults. On detecting a short circuit, the KVM104 provides a "short circuit detected" signal to disable an external power supply. A 28VDC input powers the internal circuitry.
The product meets aviation standards and requirements and is delivered with an EASA Form 1. The applicable approval can be provided by us specifically for your aircraft type.

KVM104 is remotely short circuit protected with our KPL117 Power Bus Outlet Controller.  That allows you to position the KVM104 wherever it fits best.

Application example

The KVM104 AC BUS CONTROLLER is installed in civil helicopters as part of our EMS Modular Mission System (MMS) to control the 230VAC supply to different equipment. The KVM104 can also be installed in your avionics solution to protect your 230VAC system.
