After only 10 minutes, Liquid Isolator is dry and odorless, seals permanently and gets neither brittle nor frail. It does not corrode other materials and can be removed without leaving any residues.
Liquid Isolator is a mono-compound, permanent rubber isolator. The material is sprayed, dipped or applied with an applicator onto electrical connections to protect and seal these connections and to protect mechanics and personnel from harm. Liquid Isolator is useful in particular for cables and components that are difficult to reach and of unusual shapes
Liquid Isolator is weather and UV-resistant for 3 -5 years. It is acid, saline and base resistant as well. Liquid Isolator is free of silicon, sulfur and chlorine. The product is not to be used on acrylic glass (PMMA) such as Plexiglas or polycarbonate such as Lexan.
The temperature application ranges from -34°C to 93°C (-29°F to 200°F). Liquid Isolator has a dielectric strength of 22 kV/mm, tested in accordance with ASTM D-149-09 (2013) standard and fulfills the flammability requirements for large aeroplanes according to CS/FAR 25.853 Appendix F.
